This year marks the 9th anniversary since Agiliway opened its doors to the clients. Since its start, the company has grown significantly in size and expertise providing software development solutions, IT consulting, and outsourcing services. The experience of our founders and strong will for success have become the pillars of the company’s current achievements.

Today, Agiliway operates from five development centers: Austin (Texas, USA), Krakow (Poland), and Lviv, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine). Our team consists of around 200 specialists, working with more than 40 long-term and recurring clients from various industries and around the world including the United States, UK, Ireland, Germany, and others.

For the past year, Agiliway team grew by 14%. Today our engineers are distributed across Ukraine, Poland, the US, Canada, Italy, and France. Such a tendency shows that we continue expanding in number and geographically.

We advance our technical expertise

The 9th year also marks important achievements for our team.

First of all, we have become an AWS Partner. This step is a testament to Agiliway’s dedication to delivering the best service to our clients. As an AWS Partner, we gain direct access to AWS’s vast resources and technologies, which we use to enhance client projects. Our team’s extensive AWS certifications reflect our expertise and readiness to handle complex tasks. This partnership not only proves our technical competence but also ensures we keep up with the latest trends in cloud solutions, providing you with support and advanced solutions.

Our second major achievement is extending our AI expertise, mastering advanced technologies like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI. From leveraging tools like PyTorch and TensorFlow to harnessing the power of LLMs (from OpenAI and not only), our team continues to excel in providing cutting-edge AI solutions. Our dedication to innovation and expertise has solidified our position in AI excellence.

We also continue improving our internal processes and release our own products in addition to growing technical proficiency:

  • Agiliway renewed its ISO 27001:2013 certification to the latest ISO 27001:2022 version. Based on the updates, the newer version is proof that Agiliway adopts a more integrated approach to managing information security, considering all the risks related to information security threats.
  • The Agiliway team also continues advancing our internal processes and improving the overall operations to comply with the highest Microsoft partnership standards. Our engineers are getting certifications that show their competence with MS tools and services, including such roles as Azure Administrators, Azure Solutions Architects, and DevOps Engineers on Associate and Expert levels.
  • We successfully launched Civi24Host, a web hosting service for CiviCRM users. Civi24Host, with its reliable infrastructure, ensures that the client’s data is safe and can be accessed 24/7 across the globe. Additionally, CiviCRM and CiviMobile users were presented with two new features, CiviAppointment and TimeTracker, that enhance time and project management as well as simplify the logging process and task assignments.

We grow our global presence…

This year the Agiliway team members have also focused on expanding our global presence. We actively participated in multiple tech events across the US and Europe, where we have shared experience, engaged in round tables, and gave speeches at the most talked-about events in the tech world. Among them are the DataConnect Conference in Columbus, Ohio; Silicone Slopes Summit in Salt Lake City, Utah; ITEN WIRED Summit in Pensacola Beach, Florida; CiviCamp in Hamburg and Montreal; SaaStr Europa in London; the Conversational AI and Customer Experience Summit in Munich; DevOpsDays in Seattle, Washington; Digital Healthcare Show in London; AI Week in Chicago, Illinois and more.

We were also invited to attend in an event organized by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Houston, Texas, which aimed at promoting Ukrainian culture, art, fashion, music, etc.

… and share our expertise

The Agiliway team members also share our expertise with the community. We hosted a series of tech webinars that aimed to discuss the hottest topics in the IT industry.

Our experts shared their experience in product development: from ideas to final solutions; the use of AI in software development, QA, and project management; Domain-Driven Design; advantages of microservice architecture; project management best practices, complexities, and skill analysis; testing with the best tools and practices and more. You are welcome to sign up to our website and learn more about the events we host.

We continue advancing our own products (CiviMobile and Hosting for CiviCRM)

We are not only providing custom software development and consulting services but also have built our own products. The first one is CiviMobile, a mobile CRM solution for non-profits and NGOs. Since its launch, the solution today is gaining more popularity owing to its extensive scope of features that can be customized depending on an organization’s needs.

We have also launched another big project this year — web hosting for CiviCRM — Civi24Host, to ensure the robust performance and scalability of our CiviCRM solutions for non-profits and NGOs. Civi24Host provides reliable server infrastructure that supports CiviCRM users. It allows to host software on nearly a thousand servers globally, ensuring seamless operation and accessibility for users. Civi24Host’s infrastructure underpins our commitment to delivering efficient and effective CRM solutions tailored to the unique needs of non-profit organizations.

Our CiviCRM experts also attended CiviCamps in Hamburg and Montreal. There, they shared our experience and vision on the importance of adopting CiviCRM and CiviMobile in NGOs and non-profits’ operations. The CiviCamp participants learned about how a branded CiviMobile application allows organizations to enhance their mobile presence and engagement and implementation of CiviCRM multisite that empowers organizations to foster expansion and reach new heights. The new features such as CiviAppointment for CiviCRM/CiviMobile (for transformed time management and streamlined operations for NGOs and non-profits) and updated TimeTracker extension (for efficient project management, assigning tasks for volunteers, and logging their time) were introduced.

We grow our BPO department

Business process outsourcing is an important part of our company’s services, which we deliver under the VAfromEurope brand. From short-term tasks to large-scale projects, we are dedicated to achieving tangible outcomes and meeting our partners’ expectations. Looking forward, we are enthusiastic about utilizing our expertise to assist businesses, fostering productive collaborations, and seizing every emerging opportunity.

We maintain our operations despite challenges

Prior to the full-scale invasion into Ukraine, Agiliway implemented a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure that the team would be able to work in case of any critical situation or emergency. It’s worth noting that this step allowed us to continue delivering services to our clients without disruptions.

Despite the war impacting Ukraine’s business environment, Agiliway ensures that it does not influence our operations. All offices and remote specialists are equipped with all the necessary tools to remain productive. Additional energy sources like powerful generators and access to the internet via Starlink allow us to perform our job.

We volunteer for the army…

Besides our business operations, a significant portion of the Agiliway’s efforts focus on volunteering and supporting various social initiatives.

Our company launched the Agiliway Fund to aid our defense forces in 2021. Through our collective dedication and effort, we’ve successfully garnered donations exceeding USD 1.2 million to help provide for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It has become a tradition in our company to volunteer during the official days off. Owing to this initiative, 22% of the entire Agiliway Fund donations were accumulated during these volunteering days. We hope to set an industry standard for the local companies to support the army by continuing this initiative, demonstrating its success and significant impact.

The largest volunteering projects so far include deploying two mobile dental buses equipped with dental care facilities, establishing a water supply system, and installing power generators, among others.

Furthermore, we have supplied video cameras, computers, and office equipment to implement surveillance systems. Additionally, we’ve provided drones, vehicles, e-bikes, tires, data processing tools, medical equipment, telescopic sights, thermal imagers, tablets, charging stations, Starlink systems (including subscription fees, maintenance, and support), power generators, and more. This year we focused on purchasing drones, electronic warfare systems, and other equipment requested by the AFU.

The team also participated in a series of initiatives that have become part of our corporate culture and helped raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From the Auction of Kindness, Vyshyvanka Day, and Heroes’ Day to other holidays and celebrations, our team made sure to come up with different events and activities, releasing special merch and masterclasses that help to generate significant donations to the Agiliway Fund.

…and support education

Through the years, we have also had fruitful collaborations with the local universities. Among the largest projects was opening the educational space at the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies of Lviv Polytechnic National University. Spanning 140 square meters, the area features newly installed electrical outlets for gadget charging, internet connectivity with a Wi-Fi router, and a refreshed interior including new tables, chairs, a spacious seating area with ottomans, and more. This project, initiated in November 2023, progressed through stages of project drafting, design, and approval by university leadership, culminating in its successful implementation.

This project is a continuation of a long-term partnership with the university. Earlier, we also helped to upgrade the existing lecture halls. Recently, the third such hall was renovated at the Department of Information Systems and Networks. This is the largest lecture hall in the department. Now students will have yet another convenient space for learning.

Supporting education is an important aspect of our long-term strategy, aimed at building a great future for Ukrainian education.

Summary

The year for Agiliway has been fruitful and filled with many events, impressive results, and achievements. We keep going strong every day. Our team is growing and living to its fullest, team members are getting married and having babies, and our football team is performing great.

Indeed, it has been challenging too. We cherish our team and their devotion to work and volunteering. Without you, it would have been impossible to get where we are today. We are grateful to and for our clients who have been extremely loyal and supportive, especially during such tough times. Every day we make sure that you get the best results from our partnership.

We are immensely thankful to our Army for their fight and protection. We continue what we do, and we will work even harder to provide the best support to our soldiers until it is necessary.

Here is to new milestones and more anniversaries to celebrate!
